Every year, we conduct a service evaluation. This customer-driven survey gives everybody associated with DJ Assembly the chance to find out what are our strengths and weaknesses and what we can do to become a better EMS provider.
The main objective of our service evaluation was to gather feedback about all areas of our operations with a specific focus on our current services, what is expected of us, whether or not our existing customers would utilise DJ again in the future, and if our current marketing activity was on the right path.
How did we do?
Overall, all respondents rated our PCB Assembly and other electronic manufacturing services as either ‘good’ or ‘excellent’, with 92% of customers also stating that they would look to work with DJ Assembly again on forthcoming projects.
The icing on the cake – so to speak – was that everybody who completed the survey said that they were confident the quality and attention-to-detail of our production and assembly staff. The 100% total represents a 15% increase on results from 2015 and is something that we’re immensely proud of.
However, we must note that there is always room for improvement, notably when it comes to the awareness of our own capabilities.
Although we have been heavily involved with the prototyping of a deep-sea data logger and the creation of dedicated PAT Testing kits, we acknowledge that these services could be better promoted. And that is something that will form the backbone of appearances up and down the country this year – starting at Southern Manufacturing!
Speaking of Southern Manufacturing (where we’ll be exhibiting once again), we asked our current customers about the types of events that they generally attend. Last year, we attended a number of trade events but the varied responses that we got to this question indicate that we might have to spread our wings again this year – so keep an eye out.
