DJ Assembly is going it alone!
Earlier this year, DJ Assembly’s management team bought out the company to drive DJ forward.
After successive years of growth, acquiring new business and helping brilliant companies across Britain to design, develop and manufacture a wide range of innovative products, we felt the time was right to break away from the Cyclops Group.
The move allows DJ’s leadership structure to further focus on driving the business forward and foster innovation in electronic manufacturing.
Since standing on our own two feet, we have gone from strength to strength.
We have seen demand from existing customers increase, with many adding extra products to their manufacturing portfolio with us, and we are currently on target to overachieve our own, ambitious targets.
In addition, we have successfully transitioned to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, something we are incredibly proud of. This stands as a testament to the quality of our manufacturing capabilities.
We might not be part of the Cyclops Group in an official manner, but the relationships and links built up over the last decade remain in place.
Cyclops has provided DJ with a fantastic entry point to the component marketplace and will continue to do so in the future.
We’re able to rely on Cyclops as a leading independent distributor to help with day-to-day component sourcing and resolving obsolescence issues, a benefit that is passed on to every one of our customers.
Cyclops’ Managing Director, Daniel Yodaiken, who will remain as a non-executive director, commented: “I believe that this management buyout is the next step in the growth of the company and with Tony Hunt (Managing Director) and Steven Walter (Operations Director), we have a great combination of sales and operational expertise.”
